Has the Commission had any discussions with the UK Electoral Commission on its official status during the ‘regulated period’ of the UK referendum on EU membership? If so, what was discussed and what is its status?

Has the Commission clarified with the UK Electoral Commission that every information campaign it runs in the UK (not for the purpose of the referendum) is permissible during this regulated period?
