 Subject:  Loi Macron
 Answer in writing

From 1 July 2016, the ‘loi Macron’ will take effect in France.

The law imposes new administrative obligations and requires payment of the minimum wage in accordance with French law by foreign companies operating temporarily in France.

Can the Commission say whether:
1. it considers the act to be compatible with the principles and provisions of EC law?
2. it has started a dialogue with the French authorities regarding the law’s compatibility with EC law?
3. it has undertaken an assessment of the implications of the loi Macron for foreign companies operating temporarily in France, and in particular for the transport sector?
