 Subject:  Reduced rates for distillation of brandy by cultivators
 Answer in writing 

May a state apply the reduced rates referred to in Article 22 of Council Directive 92/83/EEC of 19 October 1992 on the harmonisation of the structures of excise duties on alcohol and alcoholic beverages in respect of the distillation by cultivators of brandy in quantities of up to 50 litres per year from their own fruits in certified domestic distilleries subject to controls by the state without marketing authorisation?
