The widespread persecution of Christians must stop, with the shocking case of Asia Bibi being indicative of an intolerant culture that shows no regard for other faiths.

Expression of faith is a basic human right and, just as we value the contributions of other religions, the Christian faith must be respected.

Christians must be allowed to practice their faith, free from persecution and free from threats to their lives.

What is the EU doing in the fight for justice for Asia Bibi and to ensure that people are free to practise their faith in a peaceful manner?
