The final draft agenda for the December 2016 sittings (PE 595.324/PDOJ) had been distributed and the following changes had been proposed (Rule 152):

Monday

No changes.

Tuesday

Request by the GUE/NGL Group for the inclusion on the agenda of a debate on the Corbett report on the General revision of Parliament's Rules of Procedure (A8-0344/2016), following the debate on the Commission statement on the 'Clean Energy' package (point 86 of the draft agenda).

The following spoke: Helmut Scholz, on behalf of the GUE/NGL Group, to move the request, and Philippe Lamberts, in favour of the request.

Parliament agreed to the request by electronic vote (207 in favour, 158 against, 11 abstentions).

Request by the ENF Group for the inclusion, as the second item on the afternoon's agenda, of a statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on the situation in Aleppo.

The following spoke: Edouard Ferrand, on behalf of the ENF Group, to move the request, and Jean-Luc Schaffhauser, in favour of the request.

Parliament rejected the request.

Request by the EFDD Group for the withdrawal from the agenda of the Commission statement on the situation of the rule of law and democracy in Poland (item 103 on the draft agenda).

The following spoke: James Carver, on behalf of the EFDD Group, to move the request, Marek Jurek, in favour of the request, Janusz Lewandowski, who felt the debate was badly timed because it fell on the 35th anniversary of the imposition of martial law in Poland, and proposed that the matter be considered in the LIBE Committee (in the presence of the First Vice-President of the Commission, Mr Timmermans) before it returned to plenary, Terry Reintke, to oppose the EFDD request, and Bogusław Liberadzki, who proposed that the debate be held in January, or, failing that, on Wednesday 14 December 2016.

Parliament rejected the EFDD proposal by electronic vote (80 in favour, 200 against, 103 abstentions).

Parliament rejected Janusz Lewandowski's proposal by electronic vote (149 in favour, 200 against, 31 abstentions).

Parliament agreed to Bogusław Liberadzki's proposal by electronic vote (193 in favour, 171 against, 21 abstentions).

Wednesday

Request by the GUE/NGL Group for the inclusion, as the second item of the afternoon's agenda, of a Commission statement on the Commission Recommendation on the implementation of the EU-Turkey Statement and the reinstatement of Dublin transfers.

The following spoke: Barbara Spinelli, on behalf of the GUE/NGL Group, to move the request , and Ska Keller, in favour of the request.

Parliament agreed to the request by electronic vote (204 in favour, 149 against, 6 abstentions).

Request by the EFDD Group for the inclusion on the agenda of a statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on the attack on the Coptic Cathedral in Cairo - freedom of religion and conscience.

The following spoke: James Carver, on behalf of the EFDD Group, to move the request, Philippe Lamberts, in favour of the request, and Pier Antonio Panzeri, against the request.

Parliament agreed to the request by electronic vote (173 in favour, 150 against, 24 abstentions).

Thursday

No changes.

The order of business was thus established.
