7. Negotiations ahead of Parliament's first reading (consent) (Rule 69c)

The President announced that she had received requests from the S&D, GUE/NGL and Verts/ALE Groups for a vote to be held on the decision by the ITRE Committee to enter into negotiations on the basis of the report by Janusz Lewandowski (A8-0094/2018) and from the GUE/NGL and ENF Groups for a vote to be held on the decision by the ITRE Committee to enter into negotiations on the basis of the report by Jerzy Buzek (A8-0143/2018), as announced in the minutes of Monday 16 April 2018 (minutes of 16.4.2018, item 11).

The votes would be held the next day, Thursday 19 April 2018, pursuant to Rule 69(2).

The President announced that she had not received any requests, meeting the medium threshold, from Members or from one or more political groups in respect of the other decisions to enter into interinstitutional negotiations announced in the minutes of Monday, 16 April 2018 (minutes of 16.4.2018, item 11).
