The European Youth Event, a unique experience that grants young people the power to shape Europe's future, is preparing its third edition. After two successful editions in 2014 and 2016, Strasbourg's European Parliament buildings are getting ready to open their doors once more to the youth of Europe in June 2018.

New dates, a first draft of the programme and the themes will be announced in June 2017, while registrations to take part will open in October 2017 for all Europeans aged between 16 and 30 years. After successfully registering, participants will also get the chance to contribute to the programme by proposing to organise an activity.

So, stay tuned to this website and don't miss the opportunity to have your say and to bring your ideas for a better Europe at the EYE2018!

Through the EYE, the European Parliament gives an opportunity to young people from all over Europe to get involved in the European project and to play an active role in shaping its future. Last year, during the EYE2016, over 7,000 young Europeans gathered in Strasbourg to meet and debate with European decision makers under the motto "Together we can make a change". In order to influence EU policies, fifty of their most innovative ideas were reported and presented to MEPs; in addition, former participants debated those ideas within several parliamentary committees in the months following the EYE.
