Age & Opportunity Group from Lifford, Co. Donegal visit offices in Dublin

A lively Q&A followed today's visit of an Age & Opportunity group from Co Donegal.  Issues discussed ranged from consumer protection to septic tank charges and turf cutting.  The Group, mainly from the northern part of the county,  also heard of the Common Fisheries Policy reform and questions were raised on how EU laws are applied differently across countries.  The visit forms part of the Office's actions to mark the Year of Active Ageing.
