Ballinasloe students head to the European Parliament in Strasbourg

25  students from St Joseph's College in Ballinasloe will visit Strasbourg on Friday, 18 December to participate in the European Parliament's Euroscola programme.

The students, accompanied by their co-ordinator Cindy Henry and two teachers, Seamus O'Brien and Audrey Duignan, will join students from the EU's 26 other Member States to discuss some of the main issues facing the EU today.  Five of the students in the group participated in the National Forum on Europe's Public speaking competition during 2008 and reached the semi-final of that competition.
