Brexit, Citizens' Rights and their Protection, 5/10/2017

The European Parliament Information Office and the DCU Brexit Institute invites you to their joint event on "Brexit, Citizens' Rights and their Protection" which takes place on 5 October 2017 in Europe House, 12-14 Lower Mount Street Dublin 2 from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm.

The workshop will examine specifically the issue of rights of EU citizens in the UK and the rights of UK citizens in the EU after Brexit.  A keynote speech will be given by former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.    Other participants include leading policy makers and academics, namely Ciaran Burke (Professor of International Law, University of Jena), Pieter Cleppe (Open Europe), Brenda Daly (Associate Professor of EU Employment Law, DCU) and Dimitry Kochenov (Professor of European Law, University of Groningen).
