Film series to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camps, 21 April-13 May 2015

To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camps, including Bergen-Belsen, at which two survivors now resident in Ireland were imprisoned, the European Parliament Office, in cooperation with the supporting embassies is also screening a series of five films related to this tragic episode in European history. The films will be shown between Tuesday 21 April and Wednesday 13 May from 6:00 pm at the European Parliament Office, 43 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2.  Attendance free. Registration required. 5 May at 6:00 pm : “Colette” (in co-operation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic)
7 May at 6:00 pm: “The Ninth Day” (in co-operation with the Embassy of Germany)
12 May at 6:00 pm : “The Boxer and Death” (in co-operation with Embassy of Slovakia)
13 May at 6:00 pm : “Hannah Arendt” (in co-operation with the German Embassy)

All movies will be shown in original version with English subtitles
