International Women's Day 2013 in Dublin

To mark International Women's Day 2013, the European Parliament and the European Commission together with the National Women's Council of Ireland are hosting a discussion "Irish Women - Then and Now, Celebrating 40 Years of Women in the EU" on Friday 8 March from 4.30pm to 7pm.

To mark International Women's Day 2013, the European Parliament and the European Commission together with the National Women's Council of Ireland are hosting a discussion "Irish Women - Then and Now: Celebrating 40 Years of Women in the EU" on Friday 8 March from 4.30pm to 7pm.

Speakers on the day will include Mary O'Rourke, former Minister and author: Mairead McGuinness MEP; Roisin Ingle, columnist with the Irish Times; Carol Hunt, columnist with the Sunday Independent and Gillian McInerney, youth worker with Belong To and a member of the Steering Committee of the NWCI's 'Y Factor' initiative.
