Meet your MEPs, Friday 14 October 2016, Dingle, Co. Kerry

The European Parliament is organising a special session in Dingle/Daingean Uí Chúis on Friday 14 October 2016. All are invited to meet local MEPs Seán Kelly and Liadh Ní Riada from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm in An Díseart Centre. To book a place, ring 01-6057900 or e-mail events-epdublin@ep.europa.eu

Both MEPs have wide experience of several European policy areas and work specifically within the European Parliament on Industry, Research, Energy, International trade, Fisheries, Culture and Education.

With a wide range of challenges facing the European Union, ranging from the economy, unemployment, international trade and the UK’s exit, major decisions that will impact on all Europeans and especially on Ireland will soon be taken at European level.

Now is the opportunity to make your views known to your local MEPs about these and other issues.

Seán Kelly has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009. He is a Member of Parliament’s Committees on International Trade and on Industry, Research and Energy.

Liadh Ní Riada was elected to the Parliament in 2014 and is a member of Parliament’s committees dealing with Fisheries, Culture and Education and Budgets.

The event will be conducted in Irish and English.
