MEPs from Budgets Committee in Ireland 12-14/02/18

A delegation from the European Parliament's Budget Committee travelled to Ireland this week to discuss how smart and inclusive growth can be promoted even more effectively through the EU budget.  The four-Member delegation were in Ireland to meet with stakeholders from local and regional government and other organisations involved with EU funding, as well as holding official meetings with Irish Ministers and the Oireachtas Committee on Budgetary Oversight.

They also undertook a number of site visits, including the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Carlow Institute of Technology and a project called 'Youthreach' in Blanchardstown.

The four-member delegation was chaired by Paul Rübig and included MEPs Jan Olbrycht, Isabelle Thomas and Liadh Ní Riada.
