Multilingualism in the European Parliament, Dublin, 13/04/2018

The European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland invites you to an event on multilingualism in the European Parliament.  This is a unique opportunity to find out more about pursuing a career as a translator, interpreter, lawyer-linguist or linguistic assistant in the European Parliament.   Speakers at the bilingual round table chaired by Síle Seoige will include MEP Liadh Ní Riada.  There will also be a chance to meet lingustic staff at a drop-in session.

Place:  Europe House, 12-14 Lower Mount Street, Dublin


10:30am -12:30pm:  Round table discussion chaired by Síle Seoige on the importance of multilingualism in making Parliament more open, accessible and democratic.  Speakers will include MEP Liadh Ní Riada, senior managers from the European Parliament's linguistic services and representatives of Irish government departments.

2:30pm - 5:00pm:  Drop-in session to meet linguistic staff
