Shaping the EU's climate policy until 2030

On Monday 13th May, Gay Mitchell MEP will host a round-table discussion with the European Commissioner for Climate Action, Connie Hedegaard, which will cover the major environmental issues of the moment.   This event takes place in the European Parliament Office, 43 Molesworth Street from 12h30-14h00.


Topics to be covered include climate change, carbon trading, carbon pricing, preparations for Warsaw Climate Conference and Paris Global Conference of 2015.  Also covered will be Horizon 2020 and implications for climate change initiatives, the multi-annual financial framework and economic/ environmental incentives towards renewable and cleaner energies.
