European Parliament votes to adopt the Protocol in the EU Treaties on the concerns of the Irish people on the Lisbon Treaty

The European Parliament voted today to adopt Protocol in the EU Treaties on the concerns of the Irish people on the Lisbon Treaty. The protocol is a separate legal instrument covering issues including the right to life, family and education, taxation and security and defence.
