Live chat on Facebook on Wednesday 5 September 2012 at 2pm (CET)

"Before the crucial debate on the State of the Union, I want to hear from you. What are your concerns? In these economically challenging times, what do you expect of the European Parliament? This is your chance to voice your opinions and to debate the solutions."

The President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz will participate in a "Web Chat" on Wednesday 5 September 2012 at 2pm (CET) until 2.45pm (CET).  The chat will take place on the Facebook page of the European Parliament (see links below).

With the European Parliament shifting into top gear following the summer recess, this is a chance to debate burning issues, be it the new euro zone banking regulations or the situation in Syria.

During the first plenary session after the recess, the President of the European Commission will deliver his yearly State of the Union address in which he will talk about EU's priorities for the upcoming months.
