Strasbourg: European Consumer Centre celebrates its 20th anniversary

EP President Martin Schulz, together with the new Croatian Commissioner Nevan Mimica, will today open the European Forum for Consumers in Strasbourg.  The Forum marks the twentieth anniversary of the Single Market and the establishment of the ECC in France/Germany.

This event will take on the shape of a "European forum" with about 15 information stands, among which ECC Ireland, who will inform the public on the benefits of the EU in their sector, consumer rights etc. and will offer interactive activities.
