St. Patrick's transition-year students have won this year's EU debate organised by Meath Co. Council Library Service.  Close runners-up were O'Carolan College, Nobber, who very keenly contested the debate 'Ireland's future is fully dependent on the EU'.  The final took place in the European Food and Veterinary Centre at Grange, Co. Meath on 13th May.  The winners will travel to Strasbourg in the autumn to participate in Euroscola at the European Parliament.
