The lack of understanding within the BBC and the establishment parties about the differences between a cap on "net migration" and the numbers coming in is extraordinary.
They're all reporting "chaos" in #UKIP over numbers but the truth is they're just exposing their own lack of understanding: how do you cap net migration?
These are the total numbers in AND out of the country – and you can't cap the number of people leaving, unless the BBC intends to tie people down and keep them here!

Scaremongering by BBC on migration: "Would you be prepared to be poorer?" Flawed logic. As if we've all got richer since 2004 mass migration
