Reports - as rapporteur 
A rapporteur is appointed in the responsible parliamentary committee to draft a report on proposals of a legislative or budgetary nature, or other issues. In drafting their report, rapporteurs may consult with relevant experts and stakeholders. They are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs. Reports adopted at committee level are then examined and voted on in plenary. Rule 55

Exchange, assistance and training programme for the protection of the euro against counterfeiting for the period 2021-2027 (Pericles IV programme) (A8-0069/2019 - Dennis de Jong) FR  
 

Le Groupe S&D se félicite de la poursuite du programme Pericles pour la prochaine période pluriannuelle afin de prévenir et de combattre la contrefaçon et la fraude des pièces et billets en euros. Le programme poursuit deux objectifs :
- L'objectif général est de prévenir et de combattre la contrefaçon et la fraude qui y est associée, renforçant ainsi la compétitivité de l'économie de l'Union et assurant la viabilité des finances publiques ;
- L'objectif spécifique est de protéger les billets et pièces en euros contre la contrefaçon et la fraude qui y est associée, en soutenant et en complétant les mesures prises par les États membres et en aidant les autorités nationales et de l'Union compétentes dans leurs efforts pour développer entre elles et avec la Commission une coopération étroite et régulière et un échange des meilleures pratiques, le cas échéant avec des pays tiers et des organisations internationales.

EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (A8-0053/2019 - David Martin) FR  
 

J’ai voté contre cet accord de libre-échange, car l’inclusion dans les accords commerciaux de normes sociales et environnementales contraignantes, notamment les conventions principales de l’OIT et l’accord de Paris, est un préalable. Nous défendons le juste échange, pas une mondialisation sauvage, raison pour laquelle nous n’acceptons pas de signer des accords avec des États qui ne ratifient pas les conventions fondamentales de l’OIT. Or, Singapour n’en a pas ratifié 3: celle sur la liberté syndicale et la protection de ce droit, celle sur la discrimination, et enfin celle sur l’abolition du travail forcé.
Dans la perspective des élections européennes, les eurodéputés socialistes et radicaux appellent à la définition d’une nouvelle doctrine du commerce international applicable à l’ensemble des accords futurs, qui passe par des principes non négociables et exige la transparence des négociations.
