  • 2000-2005 : Elected regional councillor, for the first time, on the Forza Italia list; Chair of the Libraries Committee
  • 2005-2010 : Re-elected regional councillor for the province of Treviso; appointed President of the Forza Italia group in the Regional Council and Chair of Committee No 1 (programming – budget – local bodies – institutional and general affairs – audits – staffing) and member of Committee No 2 (housing – navigation – parks – ports and airports – trams – bus lines – transport – town planning – highways), of Committee No 5 (social assistance – health and hygiene – social security) and of the Committee for Statutes and Rules of Procedure
