European Security should not stop with further regulation of firearms. But if we are going to regulate further, it is imperative that this is done by truly focusing on the main challenges and root causes of the problem, such as combating the illegal trade of weapons.
In my latest video blog for Malta Independent, I argue that we simply cannot have a directive which instead of tackling these issues, punishes law-abiding citizens who are already regulated on a national level.
