Reports - as rapporteur 
A rapporteur is appointed in the responsible parliamentary committee to draft a report on proposals of a legislative or budgetary nature, or other issues. In drafting their report, rapporteurs may consult with relevant experts and stakeholders. They are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs. Reports adopted at committee level are then examined and voted on in plenary. Rule 55

Reports - as shadow rapporteur 
Political groups designate a shadow rapporteur for each report in the responsible committee to follow progress and negotiate compromise texts with the rapporteur. Rule 215

Opinions - as rapporteur 
Committees may draft an opinion to a report of the responsible committee covering the elements linked to their committee remit. Rapporteurs of such opinions are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs of the opinion. Rule 56, Rule 57, Annex VI

Current situation and future prospects for the sheep and goat sectors in the EU (A8-0064/2018 - Esther Herranz García) DA  
 

Jeg anerkender fuldt ud vigtigheden af og fordelene ved en velfungerende sektor for opdræt af geder og får i EU, men det må aldrig ske på bekostning af biodiversitet, naturpleje og sund fornuft. Kommissionens undersøgelse viser, at der ikke er behov for at åbne de vigtige og underimplementerede fugle- og habitatdirektiver. Tværtimod skal disse vigtige direktiver bevares og beskyttes for ikke at underminere den naturforvaltning, som de foreskriver. Betænkningens støtte til at revidere habitatdirektivet for at tillade jagt på ulve er i direkte konflikt med denne konklusion. Behovet for at jage ulve er baseret på en myte, da der ikke er nogen studier, der viser, at de skulle være farlige for deres omgivelser. Tværtimod viser flere studier, at ulve i naturen bidrager til biodiversiteten og en sund natur. Derfor har jeg valgt at stemme imod rapporten sammen med flertallet i den grønne gruppe.

Aviation Strategy for Europe (A8-0021/2017 - Pavel Telička) DA  
 

Jeg deler fuldt ud de Grønnes bedømmelse af betænkningen. Det er en skandale, at den nærmest er renset for initiativer til at gøre noget ved luftfartens voldsomme skadevirkning på miljøet og især klimaet. Det er strengt nødvendigt at tage hånd om den store CO2-udledning, støjforurening etc. fra flytrafikken. Hvis vi skal forhindre en klimakatastrofe, må der handles nu. Imidlertid er de alvorlige sociale problemer inden for luftfartsbranchen en anden grim side af udviklingen. De elendige forhold for såvel kabinepersonale som piloter er såvel sikkerhedsmæssigt som socialt uacceptable og skal løses. Den ekstreme priskonkurrence i luftfarten er et ræs mod bunden og medvirkende til, at de andre transportformer udkonkurreres – hvilket er en del af truslen mod klimaet. Da denne side af problemerne ved luftfarten håndteres rimeligt i luftfartsstrategien, har jeg valgt at stemme for betænkningen trods dens alvorlige mangler.
