Implementation of the European Fund for Strategic Investments (A8-0200/2017 - José Manuel Fernandes, Udo Bullmann)

The European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) entered into force in July 2015 and has brought a significant contribution to economic, social and territorial cohesion, as well as boosting employment. I support the implementation of EFSI because it promotes future-oriented investments. We have requested more transparency in the selection process, in order for all the Member States to gain access to this fund.

European agenda for the collaborative economy (A8-0195/2017 - Nicola Danti)

The concept of a ‘collaborative economy’ encompasses a wide range of activities, which stem from a variety of collaborative business models, including non-profit driven ones. The business models range from collaborative platforms which enable the exchange of goods or services all over the world to small collaborative SMEs which provide services for local communities. I support the European agenda for the collaborative economy because it can create significant opportunities for consumers, entrepreneurs and citizens, and as well as generate new jobs, growth and sources of income.
