        Inauguration of the "Emilio Colombo Space"

        The "South Gallery" exhibition space at the European Parliament in Strasbourg will be named "Emilio Colombo Space", in homage to the Italian statesman who was a member and President of the European Parliament from 1977 to 1979. EP President Martin Schulz, who will deliver a speech, S&D Group leader Gianni Pittella, who is responsible for the nomination, and the two Italian EP Vice-Presidents Antonio Tajani (PPE) and David Sassoli (S&D), will attend the ceremony.
