Debate: MEPs to discuss Matteo Salvini’s recent statements on Roma people
MEPs are set to debate on the recent statements made by Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Matteo Salvini, regarding Italy’s Roma community, on Wednesday afternoon.
This plenary session’s topical debate, proposed by the Greens/EFA political group, will allow MEPs to discuss the statements which Italy’s Interior Minister made on June 18 about Sinti and Roma communities in the country, causing outrage both at home and abroad.
