        A delegation of members from the Economic and Monetary Affairs Commission (ECON) will visit Rome on 29-31 October to discuss the country's economic outlook and financial stability as well as supervision and developments in the banking sector, e.g. capitalisation levels and stock of non-performing loans (NPLs). The committee members are set to meet, among others Mr Ignazio VISCO, Governor of the Italian National Bank and Mr Giovanni TRIA, Minister of Finance.

        29-31 October

        A delegation of MEPs from the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee will visit the Spanish towns of Ceuta and Melilla to assess the situation regarding migration on both borders with Morocco.

        The delegation will evaluate the security and respect for human rights at the borders, as well as the systems of reception and integration of migrants, paying particular attention to the situation of unaccompanied minors.

        The Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs will send an ad-hoc delegation to Seoul, South Korea which is related to the current negotiations between the European Union and South Korea aiming at reaching an "adequacy decision" on the transfer of personal data from the Union to South Korea.The delegation will meet relevant South Korean authorities and stakeholders in relation to the essential elements to be considered by the Commission when adopting its adequacy decision: the Korea Communications Commission, which is responsible for the management of the negotiations, the Korea Internet and Security Agency (KISA), the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) as well as representatives of the Ministry of Interior. The draft programme also includes meetings with Members of the National Parliament working on data protection issues as well as roundtables with representatives of civil society of the business industry and trade associations.
