"A lot has been achieved, but many people don't even realise the risks when they are on the road," says Dieter-Lebrecht Koch whose report on European road safety 2011-2020 will be discussed in plenary next week. The EU should aim for "Vision Zero", the prevention of all road deaths, he says.
