Read more about how Parliament...(read more) Facebook MEPs will during the March plenary session vote on a proposal to make cross-border inheritances easier as well as budget guidelines and proposals to reduce the gender pay gap and use quotas to boost the numbers of women on company boards and in political bodies. Other topics include conclusions of the 1-2 March European Council; progress of Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia; and a new International Cocoa Agreement.
In addition they will discuss a Dutch discriminatory website, the need for a EU diabetes strategy, low-carbon economy, EU measures against piracy off the Horn of Africa, a deal to end hormone beef trade war, Russian elections, Kazakhstan and Nigeria, a special committee on misuse of public funds by criminal organisations, as well as human rights and democracy resolutions and other items on the agenda.
