Learn more about the Sakharov Prize and show your support for human rights with European Parliament's new Facebook application. It features not only this year's laureates Iranians Jafar Panahi and Nasrin Sotoudeh, but also winners from previous years.
It's a simple app that offers three possible actions:

Pin yourself on the map to show your support for human rights. You can also find on the map all the laureates and their short bios.

Upload a cover photo for your Facebook profile. You can choose one with this year's laureates or with winners from previous years.

Watch all of EuroparlTV's Sakharov related videos and read the latest tweets about the Sakharov prize. All of them are available in the news channel section.
The application can be shared on social media and the map can be embedded on websites and blogs.
