Dobro došla Hrvatska! Today the European Union grew one country richer as Croatia joined to become the 28th member state. As the newly elected Croatian MEPs get ready for their first plenary session, learn more about this popular tourist destination in our infographic.


Croatia has today finally been able to join after being a candidate country for 10 years and negotiating for six years. It is now a fully-fledged member of the EU, including its own MEPs, a new Commissioner and a seat in the Council.
