EU budget explained: expenditure and contribution by member state

Budget26-10-2015 - 11:34
MFF stands for multiannual financial framework, the EU's long-term budget. The seven-year budget sets out how much will be spent on which policies: from farming to research, support for poorer regions and relations with countries outside the EU.

How much does the EU spend in your country and on what? How does it compare to other countries? And where does the money come from? Find out by using our multimedia application, which has been updated with the latest figures from the European Commission's annual financial report for 2014.
