Opening: President Schulz urges MEPs to abide by “mutual respect” rule
Parliament’s Advisory Committee on the Code of Conduct is investigating a regrettable incident, an altercation between two MEPs on 6 October, President Schulz informed MEPs. This incident, which involved MEP Steven Woolfe and was widely reported in the press, must remain a one-off event, insisted Mr Schulz.
