MEPs and MPs from EU member states, 18 Asian countries and also Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Norway and Switzerland will meet to debate climate change impact on migration, economy and security. They will also prepare their input for ASEAM summit to be held on 18-19 October in Brussels.

        On 27-28 September, Parliament will host a conference for fact-checking organisations ahead of the upcoming EU elections. 60 fact-checkers, representing most EU countries, will discuss challenges and opportunities when checking facts in times of elections. They will exchange experiences from previous elections, talk with MEPs and meet experts on the spread of information and disinformation. The conference will be opened by EP president Antionio TAJANI and Mariya GABRIEL, Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society.
