Get the picture: first ever event with Instagram followers at the Parliament
Something words fail to capture the full European Parliament experience, but pictures certainly can help. In May the Parliament organised its first ever instameet, a special event in Strasbourg for its Instagram followers. They had the opportunity to take photos in and around the Parliament and post them using the hashtag #EPinstameet.

The Parliament joined Instagram in 2012, reguarly asking users to post pictures that can also be published later on its Facebook page. These photos are also featured on the Parliament's Flickr page.
