Irish Taoiseach Varadkar to debate future of Europe with MEPs
The Taoiseach (Prime Minister) of Ireland Leo Varadkar will be the first EU leader to reflect on the future of Europe with MEPs on Wednesday morning.
This is to be the first in a series of debates between EU heads of state or government and MEPs on the future of the European Union.
At the invitation of Parliament’s President Antonio Tajani and the Conference of Presidents (European Parliament political group leaders), Mr. Varadkar is set to address the house and then debate Europe’s future with MEPs.
