The coming week is set aside for MEPs to work in their constituencies or take part in interparliamentary meetings or other delegation visits outside the EU. Parliament is sending delegations to interparliamentary meetings in the United Arab Emirates, Israel and Egypt. MEPs will also meet their counterparts in Iceland, Croatia, and Georgia and observe the elections in Armenia on 6 May.
President's Diary. President Schulz will be in Barcelona on Wednesday where he will meet Núria De Gispert, Speaker of the Parliament of Catalonia, Artur Mas, President of the Generalitat de Catalunya and Fathallah Sijilmassi, Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean.
There are no official parliamentary meetings in Brussels.
