Fishing industry hit by high oil prices: MEPs urge help

Current high oil prices have driven up the operating costs of fishermen, forcing some to stop work. With the fishing industry already suffering from the low prices paid for its catches, MEPs will ask the European Commission to take steps to help. Parliament will vote on a resolution on Tuesday.
