ACP-EU Assembly. The 19th plenary session of the Joint Parliamentary Assembly which brings together 78 MEPs with 78 parliamentarians from Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific takes place in Tenerife, with migration policy, the trade in bananas, climate change and the economic crisis all on the agenda (Monday-Thursday).
External activities. This week is set aside for MEPs to work in their constituencies or to take part in parliamentary delegations. As well as the ACP-EU assembly, the week’s activities include interparliamentary meetings with Croatia and Georgia, and a visit by a delegation from the special committee on the economic crisis to Latvia.
There are no official meetings of Parliamentary bodies scheduled in Brussels this week. Please note that Parliament’s offices will be closed for the Easter holiday from Thursday to Monday 5 April inclusive.
