Léirigh an t-ionsaí i Londain an 22 Márta go bhfuil an Eoraip i gcónaí faoi bhagairt ag an sceimhlitheoireacht. Rinne feisirí an choiste um shaoirsí sibhialta an fhadhb a phlé le hairí gnóthaí baile na Gearmáine agus na Fraince Thomas de Maizière agus Matthias Fekl an 27 Márta. Chuir an bheirt acu in iúl go gcaithfear teorainneacha seachtracha AE a chosaint. Dúirt siad freisin gur chóir do bhallstáit AE faisnéis a roinnt lena chéile ar bhealach níos fearr, agus dul i ngleic leis an radacú. (Ábhar léitheoireachta: Sceimhlitheoireacht: 'Níl saoránach nó ballstát ar bith slán ó ionsaithe' )

Tháinig feisirí Eorpacha agus ceannairí rialtais an Aontais Eorpaigh le chéile sa Róimh an 25 Márta chun comóradh a dhéanamh ar chonarthaí bunaidh an Aontais a síníodh sa chathair trí scór bliain ó shin. Ag labhairt dó ag na himeachtaí ceiliúrtha sa Róimh, dúirt Uachtarán na Parlaiminte Antonio Tajani: “Déanaimid ceiliúradh inniu ar an lá sin a d’aiséirigh fonn na saoirse ó luaithreach an chogaidh.” Dúirt sé freisin gur “earra luachmhar” atá in AE ach nach féidir “talamh slán a dhéanamh de”. (Ábhar léitheoireachta: 60 bliain de Chonradh na Róimhe: ‘Tá aontú na hEorpa níos tábhachtaí ná riamh’ )

Plans to make it easier to move money around within the EU’s long-run budget, to help tackle urgent challenges such as the migration crisis, strengthening security, boosting growth and creating jobs, were backed by the Budgets Committee on Monday. Parliament has long fought for greater flexibility within the Multi-annual Financial Framework (MFF), which would apply for the remainder of the 2014-2020 MFF. (Read more: Budgets MEPs back flexibility: €6bn more for jobs, growth and tackling migration )

Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee MEPs have voted to close loopholes which allow some of the world’s largest corporations to avoid paying tax on profits by exploiting differences in the tax systems of EU and third countries. Agus feisirí Eorpacha sa Bhruiséil an tseachtain seo, is é imeacht na Ríochta Aontaithe ón Aontas Eorpach an chloch is mó a bheidh ar an bpaidrín. Meastar go bhfeidhmeoidh rialtas Theresa May Airteagal 50 de Chonradh Liospóin an tseachtain seo, rud a réiteoidh an bealach don phróiseas Breatimeachta. Beidh ceist na slándála go mór chun tosaigh an tseachtain seo chomh maith, agus tabharfaidh Méara Londain Sadiq Khan agus Uachtarán na Palaistíne Mahmoud Abbas cuairt ar an bParlaimint freisin. (Ábhar léitheoireachta: An tseachtain seo sa Pharlaimint )

German federal Minister of the Interior Thomas de Maizière and French Minister of the Interior Matthias Fekl will debate EU measures to improve the security situation in Europe and future challenges in the field with the Civil Liberties Committee on Monday from 17.00 to 19.00. (Read more: Security: committee debate with French and German ministers on Monday at 17.00 )

Úsáidimid go léir feistí leictreonacha amhail fóin phóca ach cá as a dtagann na hábhair as a ndéantar iad? Is iad stán, tungstan, tantalam agus ór na ceithre mhianra coimhlinte is coitianta, a dtugtar 3TGí orthu le chéile. Tá éiginnteacht agus mí-úsáidí cearta daonna ann i mórán réigiún mar gheall ar an mianadóireacht a dhéantar orthu, agus tá grúpaí armtha in achrann lena chéile mar gheall ar thrádáil mhídhleathach orthu. Tá feisirí ag lorg tuilleadh trédhearcachta sna slabhraí soláthair. (Ábhar léitheoireachta: Mianraí coimhlinte: an fhírinne faoi do ghuthán cliste )

An 25 Márta, comórfar trí scór bliain ó síníodh Conradh na Róimhe lena mbunaíodh Comhphobal Eacnamaíochta na hEorpa. Le síneadh an chonartha, leagadh an bhunsraith don Eoraip mar a aithníonn muid inniu í, agus cuireadh tús leis an tréimhse síochána is faide a bhí ann riamh i stair scríofa na hEorpa. Tiocfaidh feisirí Eorpacha agus ceannairí rialtais na mballstát le chéile sa Róimh an 25 Márta chun páirt a ghlacadh sna himeachtaí ceiliúrtha oifigiúla. (Ábhar léitheoireachta: 60 bliain de Chonradh na Róimhe )

Parliament’s President Antonio Tajani, political group leaders and other leading MEPs will meet with Italy’s highest public officials, starting with President Sergio Mattarella on Friday, and take part in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome on Saturday. Cailleadh os cionn 1,100 duine nuair a thit ionad de mhonarchana éadaí anuas i bpríomhchathair na Banglaidéise in Aibreán 2013. Tharraing an tragóid sa “Rana Plaza” aird ar na dálaí oibre in earnáil an éadaigh. Anois, tá feisirí an choiste um fhorbairt ag iarraidh rialacha nua a thabhairt isteach chun cearta oibre agus cearta daonna oibrithe teicstíle a urramú. Tagann os cionn 70% d’iompórtálacha éadaí AE ón Áise. Cuirfear moltaí an choiste chun vóta iomlánaigh ag deireadh mhí Aibreáin. (Ábhar léitheoireachta: Gá le rialacha AE chun dálaí oibre in earnáil an éadaigh a fheabhsú )
