Decisions of several committees to enter into interinstitutional negotiations (CULT, INTA, ITRE, IMCO, PECH and LIBE )

In relation to the decisions by several committees to enter into interinstitutional negotiations announced at the opening of the sitting on Monday 15 May 2017:

 

 

Several Groups have requested, pursuant to Rule 69c, paragraph 2, that a vote be held on the decision of the CULT committee to enter into interinstitutional negotiations on the basis of the following report:

 

 
• CULT: Report on the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive 2010/13/EU on the coordination of certain provisions laid down by law, regulation or administrative action in Member States concerning the provision of audiovisual media services in view of changing market realities (2016/0151(COD)), Rapporteurs: Sabine VERHEYEN, Petra KAMMEREVERT (A8-0192/2017)

 

The vote was held on Thursday 18 May 2017 and the decision of the CULT committee to enter into interinstitutional negotiations was approved.

 

Concerning the decisions of the INTA, ITRE, IMCO, PECH and LIBE committees to enter into interinstitutional negotiations, there have been no requests for a vote in Parliament before the deadline laid down in rule 69c, paragraph 2. These committees may therefore start negotiations on the basis of the following reports:

 

 • INTA: Report on the proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and of the Council providing macro-financial assistance to the Republic of Moldova (2017/0007(COD)), Rapporteur: Sorin MOISĂ (A8-0185/2017) 


 • ITRE: Report on the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Regulations (EU) No 1316/2013 and (EU) No 283/2014 as regards the promotion of Internet connectivity in local communities  (2016/0287(COD)), Rapporteur: Carlos ZORRINHO (A8-0181/2017)

 

• IMCO: Report on the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on addressing geo-blocking and other forms of discrimination based on customers' nationality, place of residence or place of establishment within the internal market and amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC (2016/0152(COD)), Rapporteur: Róża Gräfin von THUN UND HOHENSTEIN (A8-0172/2017)

 

• PECH: Report on the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down management, conservation and control measures applicable in the Convention Area of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) and amending Council Regulations (EC) No 1936/2001, (EC) No 1984/2003 and (EC) No 520/2007 (2016/0187(COD)), Rapporteur: Gabriel MATO (A8-0173/2017)

 

• LIBE: Report on the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down standards for the reception of applicants for international protection (recast) (2016/0222(COD)), Rapporteur:  Sophia in’t VELD (A8-0186/2017)
