Decisions of the JURI, ITRE, TRAN, EMPL, LIBE, ECON and IMCO committees to enter into interinstitutional negotiations (updated)

In relation to the decisions by several committees to enter into interinstitutional negotiations, pursuant to Rule 69c, paragraph 1, announced at the opening of the session on Monday 10 September, requests for a vote in Parliament pursuant to Rule 69c, paragraph 2 were tabled by the EFDD and ENF Groups, on the decision of the LIBE committee to enter into interinstitutional negotiations on the basis of the following report:

 

• LIBE: Report on the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Regulation (EC) No 539/2001 listing the third countries whose nationals must be in possession of visas when crossing the external borders and those whose nationals are exempt from that requirement (Kosovo*) (2016/0139(COD)), Rapporteur: Tanja Fajon (A8-0261/2016)

 

The vote was held on Thursday 13 September and the committee's decision to enter into interinstitutional negotiations was approved.

 

Concerning the other decisions to enter into interinstitutional negotiations, no requests for a vote in Parliament from members or political group(s) reaching at least the medium threshold were received. The committees may therefore start the negotiations on the basis of the following reports:
