Parliamentary questions
8 July 2010
E-4383/2010
Answer given by Mr Barroso on behalf of the Commission

1. The Commission has not changed its position: think tanks are expected to register in the register of interest representatives.

2. Registration is voluntary and therefore the Commission does not intend to introduce any form of discrimination in the way non-registered entities are treated with regard to their participation or contribution in events or their consultation when those are aiming at the public at large.
