Parliamentary questions
17 May 2018
E-001496/2018
Answer given by Ms Bulc on behalf of the Commission

The Greek authorities have not informed the Commission of the progress made in the deregulation of city transport services in Thessaloniki, nor have they submitted any proposals in this regard. They are under no obligation to do so under Regulation (EC) n°1370/2007.

As a result, it is not possible to assess the conformity of the measures adopted or to be adopted with Regulation (EC) n°1370/2007, or with Directives 2014/24/EU and 2014/25/EU, if the later ones are applicable for the attribution of the contracts for public service transport by bus in Thessaloniki.
