Parliamentary questions
14 September 2018
P-003206/2018
Answer given by Vice-President Mogherini on behalf of the European Commission

There are currently 155 persons and 38 entities designated by the Council under Council Decision 2014/145/CFSP and Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014. The reasons for each designation are published in the legal acts and are publicly available(1). No persons have been designated under the specific criterion for conducting transactions with the separatist groups in the Donbas region of Ukraine.

It is a matter for the Council to decide, by unanimity, whether to make a designation under the criteria in the legal act.
