E-007105-17
Question for written answer
to the Commission
Rule 130
Dubravka Šuica (PPE)

 Subject:  Lung cancer
 Answer(s)

Lung cancer is today recognised to be one of the main causes of death in Europe, especially in eastern Europe. This is due to poor access to clinical trials and new medicines, which is translating into wide disparities between western and eastern Member States.

What practical steps will the Commission take with a view to reducing mortality from lung cancer in the EU’s eastern Member States?
