The introduction of digital technology in healthcare systems may be viewed by health stakeholders in a positive light. There are, however, several unresolved problems.

I would like to know how the Commission will address issues related to data collection and use that are considered crucial in the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes.

How will the Commission resolve ethical issues regarding the privacy of individuals vis-à-vis gathering, storing and disseminating the information?
