The Commission suspended ESF 2007-2013 payments for the Sardinia Regional Operational Programme (ROP) in 2013.

1. How does the Commission intend to ensure that the Sardinian regional authorities make proper use of ESF funding during the next programming period?2. What steps have the relevant EU bodies taken since the payments were suspended to recover the sums improperly used by the Sardinian regional authorities?3. What steps will the Commission be taking in order to make sure that the supervisory work carried out by the management, certification and audit authorities and supervisory committee set up by the Sardinian regional authorities is properly monitored in future?
